Welcome!

Welcome to our new Kid's Way blog! So, what's a blog and why do we have one? Well, a blog is a great way to find out all the information you want and need to know from someone. It's a great way to keep in touch with someone. In our case, our blog is a place where parents and kids can find out all they need to know about what is going on in children's ministry each week. As a parent, you will not only find a summary of what your child learned in children's ministry on Sunday, but you will also discover simple ways to help you use the truth your child learns on Sunday and weave it into the fabric of your day-to-day lives. You'll be able to "meet" our volunteers, and get to know them a bit more. You will also hear about ways that you can be involved in what God is doing in the lives of kids here at CrossWay! And.....lots of other fun stuff and surprises along the way.

At Kids' Way, we want to partner with you in your child's spiritual development. We hope this blog will help keep you up-to-date on everything we are doing each week in our children's ministry so that you can continue the conversation at home. We know that what happens at home is more important than what happens in church. So, we want to equip you with the tools to build faith and character into your kids. Two forces working together have considerably more influence than two forces alone. We want to work together with you to make a difference in the lives your kids so that we can do more together than we could each do alone!

Along those lines, please feel free to comment (using the "comments" link at the bottom of each post) to ask a question, provide us feedback, share an idea, or post an encouraging story. That's the great part about a blog......it's not a one way street! We'd LOVE to hear from you! Of course, if you'd rather not share something publicly on the blog, please feel free to use the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page to e-mail me.

So, have a look around and make yourself at home! We're glad you are here!

Blessings,
Jenna Hardy

Just have a quick kids Bible book recommendation I must share because I love it so much! For those who are interested...it's called The Rhyme Bible put out by Zonderkidz. My toddler loves it and I can see she is memorizing it quite easily...they're great rhymes and very accurate. There is one for babies, one for toddlers and one for ages 4-8. Also, incase there are any others with Toddlers, I'd also like to recommend First Virtues for Toddlers it is a great book and very precious as well. Hope this is helpful to someone...can hardly wait to read other posts!

I had a GREAT discussion with my kids this week after doing the devotions that Jenna provided. WOW! It opened up a lot of doors and I was using the material to show them how practical the bible can be.

Thanks
